Is it too hot to wear in the warm weather?
The fabric is lightweight and moisture-wicking so it’s designed to keep you comfortable even when it’s warm. Many of our customers wear it through autumn and spring when the sun is still strong. If you’re in very hot conditions, it’s worth comparing to our arm sleeves which cover just the arms.
IS IT THE SAME FABRIC AS YOUR ARM SLEEVES?
Yes — the same 4-way stretch, moisture-wicking fabric our arm sleeve customers love. It’s soft, lightweight, and moves with you. If you already love your Wildly Ready sleeves, you’ll love this.
DOES IT HAVE THUMBHOLES?
No. We deliberately left thumbholes out so the hoodie fits all arm lengths comfortably. The plain cuffs sit naturally at the wrist.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COVER?
The hoodie covers your arms from wrist to shoulder, your upper body, your neck, and your head (with the hood up). Combined with our Longline Shorts it gives you near-complete leg-to-head sun protection.
IS IT TRUE TO SIZE?
The fit is relaxed so it’s generous rather than fitted. If you’re between sizes or prefer more room for movement, size up. Check the size chart and reach out if you’re not sure — we’re happy to help.
CAN I WEAR IT WITH THE LONGLINE SHORTS?
Absolutely — the Blue Wren print is available in both the UV Hoodie and the Longline Shorts, making a beautiful matching set. Both are UPF 50+ so together you have comprehensive sun coverage from wrists to below the knee.
HOW DO I CARE FOR IT?
Machine wash cold (30°C). Do not bleach or use fabric softeners. Tumble dry low. Do not iron. This keeps the UPF protection and the print looking great wash after wash.
